| Details: | It was a weekend of firsts as NASCAR's most popular driver, Dale Earnhardt Jr., ended his 76-race winless streak and brought home his first victory for his new team at Hendrick Motorsports. It was the first time in his career that he won on Father's Day which, ironically, came ten years later than he expected - and in a different series. Junior nearly beat his own father, Dale Earnhardt, in the IROC Series' 1999 race at Michigan International Speedway. Instead, Dale claimed the victory that day by a two-foot margin over Junior. To add to the Father's Day lore, Dale Jr.'s two year winless streak ended with the exact number of wins, 76, that his famous father posted in his illustrious and soon-to-be Hall of Fame career. Will include a limited edition reproduction of a Sam Bass print commemorating this historic first win.
